First class experience
Everything about the Tennyson is outstanding. The best b&b we have ever stayed in. We were only there for one night which was the only disappointment. Location, parking, welcome, room and breakfast were all first class. We arrived on Easter Saturday and had a chocolate egg waiting for us in our room. It’s these small touches that make the Tennyson a winner.

Everything about the Tennyson is great!
Tim and Julie are perfect hosts who seem to have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are newly decorated with new carpets and furniture – the bed was so comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

My husband and I stayed at the Tennyson in july for a mini break and All we can say is it was fantastic. Great room, really clean, great food and the owners couldn’t do enough for us. We will certainly be going again !!

Fantastic
My partner booked this guesthouse as part of a surprise weekend away for my birthday! Absolutely lovely place, spotlessly clean and our room was gorgeous – bed extremely comfy. Julie and Tim are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast superb (especially Tim’s scrambled eggs!) we will DEFINITELY be visiting again and would recommend anybody looking to say in Bridlington stay at The Tennyson.

First let me say that this is without doubt the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. My wife and I have just returned from a long weekend stay. From the front door being opened on arrival to departure service is superb, and always with a smile and kind word! Julie and Tim have been the proprietors since September. Once we had deposited the bags into our room there was a very welcome pot of tea waiting for us. On street parking is available with Julie and Tim sorting this electronically.
Our room (Room 3), which was nice and quiet, being situated to the rear of the property, was large, and bright with a large window and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The room is well furnished and has a very comfortable bed. A hospitality tray offers tea and coffee making facilities with hot chocolate and very good biscuits. Fresh milk and cold filtered water are available from the fridge in the dining room 24 hours a day. The TV includes Netflix!
Breakfast was superb with cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and a delicious cooked breakfast with just about everything you could think of on offer!
The Tennyson is situated about a five minute stroll from both the beach and the town centre.
Julie and Tim are excellent hosts whose sole concern is the comfort of their guests. There is always good conversation, banter and plenty of local knowledge. This is a fabulous place to stay for a good break where your every need is catered for! We will definitely return.

Fantastic
Stayed for 2 night, very welcoming and hospitable. Very clean, nicely furnished and lovely en-suite. Really nice cooked breakfast, fab scrambled eggs!! Would definitely stay here again good value for money. Keep up the good work Julie and Tim xx

This guesthouse has the qualities of a 5 star hotel.
The Tennyson is ideally situated for all the amenities in Bridlington, and a 10 minute walk from the main train line. The Guesthouse is spotlessly clean, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable.
Plenty of choice for breakfast, from the heartiest of eaters to those just looking for something light. The owners are very friendly and helpful should you require assistance.
Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

“New Year’s Eve party “
Just got back from a New Year’s Eve stay at the Tennyson could not wish for a better place to stay .Tim and Julie couldn’t do enough for you it was just like being home from home great food clean rooms friendly hosts what more could you ask for.
The breakfast got 10 out of 10 set us up for the day would recommend this b&b to anyone although they have only been in since September you could not tell spot on in everything so thanks Tim and Julie for everything (the 4 in a bed folk lol)

“We stayed for 2 nights ,The rooms we stayed in were newly furnished and decorated to a high standard. Very clean and welcoming and the home cooked breakfast was excellent. We have been staying at the Tennyson for the past 3 years but the new owners have made it even better, Julie and Tim are lovely hosts and could not do enough for us.I will definitely be staying here again its a home from home”
